Arthur D. Fiske
Arthur Fiske became interested in his family history while very young man. He joined the Seattle Genealogical society in 1952 and immediately began to assist both that organization and the Seattle Public Library in acquiring their genealogical collections. Arthur soon became well known as a research expert. After he began teaching in 1969 he built up a library of his own, The Fiske Library. In 1971 he founded the Fiske Genealogical Foundation and gave his library to the foundation. Arthur Fiske died June 14, 1996.
